Wrestlers, Alumni, Parents and Friends,
The 2010/2011 Season is fast approaching, and many of our wrestlers have been honing their skills, strength and conditioning since our championship season ended last February at the State tournament. Open mats are in full swing every Monday and Wednesday from 6-7:30. Everyone is welcome. While we have lost 8 out of our 15 varsity wrestlers to graduation, the most decorated group that has ever graced the JJ mats, we have a slew of very talented competition ready grapplers ready to fill in at every level.
Alumni-Please stop by any time to say hello or drop me a line at bills@aiaps.com . There is nothing that brings me more joy than to meet our older alumni, dating back to our first team in 1957, as well as, all the guys I have had the privilege to coach since 2001.
We are entering into our 10th year of the rebirth of our great wrestling tradition here at John jay and I look forward to a wonderful season, full of all the ups and downs along the way. The trademark of this program is to always be ready and flying high for the post season, and this season could top them all.
